Annual Inspections · FAR Part 43
The annual,
done the long way.
Every annual inspection at Wingman AeroCare starts with a written, airframe-specific checklist and ends with a photographed discrepancy report. No surprise invoices. No ambiguous findings. No unresolved squawks pushed to next year.
Scope of Work
What the inspection
actually covers.
The scope below represents our standard published checklist. Additional items are added based on airframe, operating environment, and findings surfaced during the inspection.

Fuel System
Tank inspection, fuel pump pressure check, selector function, fuel lines for chafing and seepage, and boost pump performance.
Ignition System
Magneto 500-hour inspection tracking, harness resistance check, plug rotation and firing-end assessment, timing within manufacturer limits.

Airworthiness Directives

Owner Questions
Frequently asked.
- Do you provide a written discrepancy report?
- Yes. Every annual produces a photographed, written discrepancy report: findings, recommended action, deferred items, and the reasoning behind each. The report is yours and follows the aircraft for its life.
- How are findings outside base scope handled?
- All work beyond the published inspection scope is quoted and approved before any wrench turns. No surprise line items. The owner portal surfaces pending approvals in real time.
- Do you work on owner-assisted annuals?
- Case by case. An owner who wants to participate in the inspection and help with cleanup is welcome. We retain full authority over inspection procedure and return-to-service decisions.
- What about aircraft records and logbooks?
- Records review is part of the annual. We will flag missing logbook entries, AD compliance gaps, and undocumented maintenance before we start turning wrenches.
