How do I schedule maintenance with Wingman?
Updated · Wingman AeroCare, KFNL
Short answer: Call Wingman AeroCare at (970) 292-0719 or email hello@wingmanaerocare.com, Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Mountain. Annual inspections are typically booked a few weeks ahead, so call early for the next open slot. For inspections, a deposit based on estimated hours is collected up front and settled against actual hours at the end.
Step 1: Reach out
Tell us:
- Your tail number, make, and model
- What you need (annual, 100-hour, a specific squawk, an AD, a pre-buy)
- When your annual or other inspections come due
- Any known issues or things you want looked at
We work on piston singles and twins with Lycoming and Continental engines. See what aircraft we work on.
Step 2: Pick a slot
| Service | Typical turnaround |
|---|---|
| Annual inspection | 4-7 business days |
| 100-hour inspection | 3-5 business days |
Turnaround assumes no major findings and parts availability. Annuals are typically booked a few weeks ahead, so if your annual is due at the end of a month, call well before then. An annual is valid through the end of the 12th calendar month after the month it was completed (14 CFR 91.409(a)), so scheduling a little early in that month costs you nothing.
Step 3: Deposit and drop-off
For inspections, we collect a deposit based on the estimated hours. At the end, the deposit is settled against the actual hours worked. For repairs, parts and estimated labor are paid before parts are ordered, so nothing stalls waiting on a purchase decision.
Bring the aircraft to Northern Colorado Regional Airport (KFNL), 5297 Gulfstream Ct, Loveland, CO 80538, along with:
- Airframe, engine, and propeller logbooks
- Your current AD status list, if you have one
- A written squawk list
- Any recent oil analysis or engine monitor data
See how to prepare for an annual for more.
Step 4: Review findings and approve
Every finding goes on an online estimate with photos and video. Each item is labeled:
- Airworthy: required to return the aircraft to service
- Recommended: not legally required now, but worth doing
- Optional: your call
You approve or decline each item individually. Nothing beyond the approved scope is done without your approval. See how to approve repairs.
Step 5: Pickup and payment
When the work is done, we notify you that the aircraft is ready. Payment is by bank transfer link. A few policies to know:
- Storage: $100 per day, starting 3 days after you are notified the aircraft is ready
- Late payment: 1.75% per month after 7 days
- Labor warranty: 90 days or 100 flight hours, whichever comes first
What does labor cost?
Labor is billed hourly against an estimate you approve first. For an estimate on your specific aircraft, contact us and we will put one together. See how Wingman bills.
What if it is urgent?
If your aircraft is grounded away from home or something failed unexpectedly, call (970) 292-0719. After-hours AOG help is available by arrangement. See AOG help in Northern Colorado.
How Wingman handles it
Wingman AeroCare keeps scheduling simple: one call or email, a clear deposit, a realistic turnaround, and an online estimate where you approve every item.
