What services do we do in-house?
- Annual inspections and 100-hour inspections. Annuals are performed and signed off by an A&P mechanic holding Inspection Authorization (IA); 100-hours by a certificated A&P
- Piston engine maintenance, including cylinder and top-end work, magneto and ignition systems, and fuel system work
- Airworthiness directive and service bulletin compliance
- Troubleshooting, including avionics troubleshooting
- Pitot-static, transponder, and ELT compliance coordination
- Pre-purchase inspections through the ClearBuy program
All work is done under 14 CFR Part 43.
What do we manage through partners?
Some jobs need specialized facilities. For these, Wingman uses vetted partner shops and manages the work for you, so you still have one point of contact:
- Engine overhauls
- Propeller overhauls
- Paint
- Interiors
- Major avionics installations
You do not have to find, vet, and schedule a separate shop for each of these. We coordinate it and keep you updated.
Why does type experience matter?
Each model family has its own patterns: known corrosion spots, recurring ADs, service bulletins, and parts that wear in predictable ways. Focusing on piston singles and twins means the inspection checklist is informed by what actually goes wrong on these airplanes, which helps findings get caught early and estimates stay realistic.
For high-performance types like the Cirrus SR22T, Bonanza, Baron, and PA-46, that experience is especially valuable. These aircraft have more complex systems (turbocharging, retractable gear, pressurization on some PA-46 models, sophisticated avionics) and more AD and SB history to track.
